Resource Finance
Bright Capital Finance has access to international and Australian based fund managers that specialise in resource finance.
Our financiers are usually open to equity, debt, or a combination of both and will structure the terms to meet the needs of the borrower. We can structure deals to allow investors to purchase the resources from the mine at a predetermined and discounted rate.
Our funds managers are knowledgeable about mining and will usually want to meet with principals and visit the mine before financing is finalised.
When assessing a resource investment opportunity, financiers want to know whether your mine is currently producing if not ,when will production start.
Should the mine be in production, how much increased production can be expected by utilising the invested capital. For this JORC reports, assay reports, tenements and third party CAPEX and OPEX reports will need to be available as well as information on claims and permits.
Fund Managers will ask questions about how much capital has been invested in the mine to date, liquidity of borrowers, and be able to show proof of funds upon request. Financiers want to know that borrowers have skin in the game and the ability to help make the deal work. Few financiers will require 10% proof of funds, while for others 1 – 2% liquidity to help with due diligence is acceptable. Generally any funds contributed by the borrower will be reimbursed upon successful raising of capital.
Bright Capital Finance has No upfront fee for the initial consult. due to the nature of resources funding a small working fee may be charged to continue with the capital raise.
For referral brokers and agents your fee will be paid only upon a successful capital raise.
